$169SFLStudio Strobe Flash Lighting Workshop
Use of studio-style strobe lighting opens the door to the efficient creation of stunning portraiture. Learn the fundamentals of the use of accessory speedlight units and professional studio strobe lighting for superior results. In this session, limited to five students, you will get to try your hand at actual use of a full portrait studio setup while photographing student-supplied models. Participants will be invited to also bring samples of professional portraits that you wish to learn how to emulate. You will get lots of hands-on experience as you set the lights, pose models, and take photos, all under the helpful supervision of the instructor.
Open to moderately-experienced to experienced photographers seriously pursuing studio portraiture as a means of creative expression or as a profession. Participants should bring a camera with a hot-shoe mount and be reasonably experienced in use of their camera's basic controls.
1 session - 3 hours long. Space is limited and this class is popular so don't wait till after the ILO and ISF sessions to register for this class to avoid disappointment.
