Practice Makes Perfect Workshops
A solid foundation of technical and field skills is essential for success in photography. These workshop sessions, featuring small class sizes and lots of hands-on opportunities, are designed specifically for serious but relatively unskilled digital photographers, helping you gain confidence in using your camera's core controls as well as assist you in developing good field skills and a creative eye. The focus of these courses is always to keep things simple as possible while still allowing maximum control of image quality and image appearance.
This course is intended for any photographer eager to create images that go beyond snap-shot quality. Topics covered include: perfecting exposure and color in all lighting conditions from sunlight to candle-light; controlling motion blur; focusing on moving subjects and control of depth-of-field (background sharpness).
Only cameras allowing direct manual access of shutter speeds, aperture and ISO are suitable for these courses (this includes all DSLRs and Mirrorless cameras and any higher-end point-and- shoots). Very basic, auto-only, point-and-shoot digital cameras are not suitable.
