The Photek Training Centre in Red Deer, Alberta offers a comprehensive range of photography courses, offered in both complete course and topical short-course formats, with small class sizes and flexible scheduling.
Photek is known throughout central Alberta as THE place to learn about moving beyond snapshots: novice photographers quickly learn the craft: how to make the most of their cameras, while more experienced students can discover the art: how to develop a good eye and mastery of advanced shooting and editing techniques. Most classes are taught by Dwight Arthur: a professional commercial photographer with extensive experience in digital photography and editing, fine art, graphic design and teaching. Highly-experienced guest instructors are also sometimes featured.

All weeknight sessions are from 6:30 to 9:30 pm; Saturday and weekday sessions are from 9 am to noon.
